Welcome back to my blog, where we're about to embark on a nostalgic journey back to the days of childhood mischief and boundless energy. So, grab a snack, sit back, and dive into the memories that made my early years a whirlwind of laughter, countless escapades, and thrilling adventures.

When I was born, the nurse at the hospital couldn't help but affectionately name me "BOXY" owing to my irresistibly plump cheeks. And you know what? My cousin overheard it and made sure that name stuck in everyone's head.

Ah, childhood mischief! It's a language we all speak, isn't it? From the tender age of 10 months, I was already plotting pranks and playing tricks. One of my classic moves was jumping from my mom's arms while my uncle tried to lift me, resulting in a hilarious roll down the stairs. Trust me, we were all in stitches. And that's not all. At the ripe old age of two, I managed to burn my forearm with an iron box. Yes, you read that right. It was quite an adventure.

But that was just the beginning! Fast forward to when I was five years old, and I had my lizard buddy with me. I thought I could pull off a cool show-and-tell for my mom, but she caught me red-handed! Mischief wasn't just a part of my childhood; it was practically my middle name!

One of my all-time favorite antics involved my grandmom, clothes, and a whole lot of laughter. You can bet I turned it into a wild adventure! My grandmom would meticulously hang the freshly washed clothes in the backyard. And there I was, a little ball of energy, unable to resist the temptation of that saggy wire hanging just above my head. I couldn't resist the urge to turn it into my personal monkey bars! So, with all the stealth I could muster, I'd quickly scamper to the wire and start swinging and hanging on it like a mini acrobat. As you might guess, it didn't take long for gravity to catch up with my shenanigans. Clothes started to rain down on me like confetti at a party! But the fun didn't stop there.

My mom, who was never too thrilled with my mischievous ways, would come charging toward me with a stern look and a stick in her hand, ready to teach me a lesson. However, my clever grandmom was always one step ahead. She would swoop in like a superhero, whisk me away to safety, and hide me behind a wall of clothes, her eyes twinkling with mischief. It was our little secret! The thrill of those escapades and the joy of having a protective partner-in-crime like my grandmom are memories I'll cherish forever!

I was the ultimate master of trouble. It's funny how we all have our own language of mischief, and I was definitely fluent in it! Who else has some epic mischief tales to share? I'd love to hear about them in the comments. Let's reminisce and laugh together!

So, as we reminisce about those carefree years, let's raise a toast to the spirit of every child out there. Let's celebrate the joy and mischief that define the essence of childhood. Because no matter where life takes us, the memories of our magical childhoods will continue to inspire us, reminding us that the human spirit can find joy and happiness that transcends any limitations.

I often wonder if Sensory motor neuropathy could be detected during birth. When our team spoke to Dr.Kuldeep Shetty, A Neurologist at Mazumdar Shaw Medical Center and Narayana Hrudayalaya, he said “Sensory-motor neuropathy comes in two forms - Genetic and Acquired. The genetic type tends to manifest in childhood and, though researchers are actively exploring various therapies, there is no definite cure yet. If you notice initial symptoms like weakness in your legs, seeking a prompt consultation with a Neurologist/Pediatric neurologist can significantly improve your quality of life. They can offer a range of alternatives, such as rehabilitation, physiotherapy, and other forms of assistance. On the other hand, acquired sensory-motor neuropathy is linked to other diseases and can potentially be treated over time. Stay informed and take action to enhance your well-being.”

Mine being Genetic sensory-motor neuropathy, I will let you know in future blogs what impact it had on my life. So, that's how it all went down from my side. But wait, there's more to come in the next blog. Get ready to hear the whole scoop straight from my folks and fam!

Remember, as Tim O'Brien once said, "Stories are for joining the past to the future. Stories are for those late hours in the night when you can't remember how you got from where you were to where you are. Stories are for eternity when memory is erased when there is nothing to remember except the story." So, let's keep those stories alive and relish the mischievous adventures of our childhood. Until next time, keep that inner child alive and keep spreading laughter and mischief wherever you go!

There's a cute little "Boxy" in those pics who I am sure was always forgiven for being naughty. Everyone has a naughty side in them which comes out once in a while even in their adulthood. Isnt that the origin of creativity and innovation?
