Project Feature: Redevelopment and adaptive reuse

The project site situated in a very dense urban neighborhood has an existing structure with ground, first, and, second floors, all built during different time periods. Hence, the spaces do not suit the current lifestyle. The built form presents unique advantages as well as potential challenges. Taking cognizance of these aspects, it is decided to retain the built-form structure intact and renovate the internal spaces so as to incorporate the immediate requirements and the near future.

 

Special attention has been given to incorporating eco-friendly construction techniques, enhancing the spatial experience, and the inclusion of accessibility parameters along with the adaption of the water management strategies.
